Docklands to NGV

We wanted to return a book to Melbourne Library and it seemed like a good idea to drop it off at the Docklands Branch and then walk via some sculptures to the art book sale at the NGV.

The first sculpture is Shadow Trees by Sally Smart.  Very close to the end of the tram track!

Almost under the trees was this Harley.  A very smooth looking machine with no visible chrome.
Cranes further down the wharf.
Bolte Bridge in the background.
An abseiler comes to ground.
A wide view of Victoria Harbour, with fisherpersons on the jetties.
Heading back into town. No information about this work, anywhere near it,
Ditto.
Obviously a Wabbit, but otherwise as above.
There was a tatt parlour along the promenade offering what seemed to be pretty basic items,  Still asking at least $150 a go. It makes me wonder how much many of the really decorated folk we see have spent on their skin.
These are by Patricia "Skywhale" Piccolomini.
Nothing along Southbank impressed us positively.  The barrage of 💩music from loudspeakers between Kings and Queens bridges inspired me to sent a complaint to the Council.

Here are the stalls in the Grand Hall of NGV selling art books. As it was lunch time it was pretty crowded, and having walked 4+km I was keen to sit down (eg on a tram).
